Our Story
Every team has a history.
This is ours.
A simple idea…
The Morales Fashion Photo Modeling Team began in 2022 as the simplest of ideas: let’s get a handful of models, strangers to each other, all together for a coordinated fashion shoot. Everyone grabbed some jeans and a white top and we just had some fun! We had so much fun, in fact, that we decided to keep shooting together; and that was the first year of the MFP Modeling Team.
Finding our footing…
In 2023, our numbers grew in our women’s team, but we also tried to implement something new: a men’s team. Admittedly, the men’s team was a tad slapdash, and it didn’t last. But the women’s team continued to thrive and we produced some of our best and most iconic work that year.
Refusing to quit…
2024 was a tough year, in some ways. Schedules didn’t align, and for most shoots, we didn’t have the full team with us. But we persevered, and continued to hone our collective craft as artists. This was also the first year that we welcomed Erika and Jessie as team captains, models who had been with us since the very beginning at the very first shoot. And we made one more welcome that year: Alejandra had a baby girl!
When everything changed…
2025 was our best and worst year so far. We started out with twelve members and ended with only six. It was the first year we did digital submissions in addition to in-person auditions, something we won’t be repeating. Everyone who submitted digitally ended up eventually leaving the team, for a variety of reasons. That face-to-face connection ended up being so important for establishing relationship and expectations from the get-go. But the six models we ended up with were the strongest team we’ve ever had, and the back half of the year was a run of absolutely extraordinary quality that we are beyond proud of.
We know who we are now…
We’re now halfway through 2026, and we’ve made an important realization. We’re more than a photography business or a group of models for hire. We’re a community. We’re about something. And we’re looking for people who want to share in what we’re building. We’re planning for the future, and here’s what it looks like: three teams - two women’s and a men’s team. The vision, though, remains the same. We’re committed to creating beautiful images that tell engaging stories through fun fashion concepts in an environment that encourages growth, support, and self-expression.
